Before & After :: San Diego TV Room

 I have been designing rooms in this home since I started Decorator in a Box in 2010.  It's always dear to me when I get to work with this lovely family again. This time the mission was the TV Room. The goal was to create more comfortable seating space for movie watching and gaming. They also loved their La-Z-Boy recliners yet did not want to sacrifice style. They wanted both style and "concealed" recliner comfort. The other objective was to tidy up and style the built-in shelves. My favorite part of the room is the farm painting. This painting was done by their local artist Nancy Fraser. The client grew up on a farm in North Dakota. Bringing in a little piece of her roots with this farm painting make the space all the more comfortable. I'm so happy to see this family of six enjoying this room with new style and comfort. Here are the photos sent from the client. All the "after" photos on my website are taken straight from the client. I love this because it shows a real home and how it's being used.
