Many of you don't know I have a kitchen that needs a major remodel. We have been in our home for almost three years. In that three years I have been pinning and dreaming of what we should do to this circa 80's kitchen. Yes it's complete with honey oak cabinets and appliances well past the expiration date. I have always been drawn to cement tile. Especially the lovely patterns of Granada Tile. My favorite trend is kitchens that install statement cement tile to the back of the island or peninsula. It's a nice change from just staring at more cabinets. Plus it's much more durable for toe kicking while sitting at a stool. What do you think of this trend? Is cement tile here to stay? Would you do it as your floor, island or backsplash?
