Get the Look :: Shopping Details for Our IKEA Family Office

Happy weekend all! I'm getting a lot of emails and questions about  the IKEA family office photos I posted a few weeks ago. I'm guessing now that everyone is working and doing school from home this concept is very appealing. Below is a list of the IKEA components we used. Just click on the product name and it's linked to the website to start shopping. If you missed the post from weeks past click here for a look back. The quick recap is that we converted our formal front living room into a family office. The formal living room that once was cluttered with toys and a sad desk is now a space that we use many hours each day. Shopping details to create your own version of this office are listed below. My wish is for this information to make your time at home more enjoyable for you and your family.

 My IKEA Office Shopping List
Center Bookcase - KALLAX
Wood Desktops - Quantity 2 GERTON Tops
Center Drawers - MALM 3 Drawer chest in white
Left Side Drawer - MALM 2 Drawer Chest in white
Right Side File Drawer - MALM Drawer on casters
Picture Frames - RIBBA 19 3/4" x 19 3/4"  ( hopefully they will have photos soon).
Baskets - HADERIRTTAN
White Boards - SVENSAS
Desk Chairs - Parthos in camel leather

I hope this helps you to make better use of an unused formal space or an office that could function better. If you have other home projects I would love to hear about them. I can create an online custom interior design that meets your personal needs, style and budget. Just follow the four easy and fun steps here and be on your way to a custom Decorator in a Box that's just for you.

Xo,
Annie

Hi - I love this - thanks for providing all the links. My dad really wants me to create a long work desk for his guest room - one that he can also eat at (at one end). So I'm playing with ideas and thinking of doing it on the long wall near the kitchen!

hi! wondering if you kept this desktop as deep 29 in. My area I need is 24 inches and was wondering if I could cut it. Thanks!
