Happy Friday All! I hope you have wonderful weekends plans. I'm hoping mine involve being in a lounge chair outside with something frozen in a glass. In between daydreaming about my weekend I have been thinking a lot about popcorn. No not the delicious, buttery yummy kind. I'm talking about the eye sore ceiling popcorn. We have been slowly eliminating it from our 80's home room by room. We are now focused on the large ceiling in our kitchen and family room. This is a little harder to scrape and patch as the ceiling has some damage and it's a larger area. Since this is the hub of the home it needs to be special. Instead of scraping and patching the ceiling with endless hours of labor we are going to cover it up with tongue and groove paneling. This look is then finished off nicely with crown moudling. This can be more cost effective from a time and labor perspective. Oh and a lot less of a mess. Plus you will end up with a more upscale and custom look in the end. So put down the scraper and put those paneling skills to work. I guarantee you will love the finished look. What is your current project? Email me a few photos and tell me your thoughts. I will create a custom quote to meet your design needs. Have a great weekend all! Xo, Annie photo via Kitchens of Instagram
