Saturday Plans :: Hannah Schochet Art + Blu Dot Outlet + Bauhaus Brew Lab

I have always been a modern and abstract art lover. I often times start my room designs by selecting the art first. Hannah Schochets color and major texture paintings inspired me to build a room around one of her pieces. See how it came together in the vision board below. The bold statement art is a great anchor in the room. You can build your own room around Hannah's art too. Open studio at the Northrup King Building is every Saturday noon-4. Head on over and meet Hannah herself and hear her process.

She is located in the Northrup King Building 1st floor studio 166. She is also just steps away from one of my favorite Minneapolis furniture outlets Blu Dot. Yes we are #blessed to have this outlet. Then just another few steps from Hannah and Blu Dot is the Minneapolis beloved brewery Bauhaus Brew Lab. They have not only great brews, but the quintessential Summer patio.

If you don't have any Saturday plans let me put this idea in your mind. Drive down to visit Hannah in the famous Northrup King Building...it's four floors of amazing art! Then once you purchase your favorite art go build a room around it at Blu Dot Outlet. You will be creatively exhausted after all that. Which is the perfect time to go rest on a patio sipping one of Minneapolis finest brews at Bauhaus. There I just planned an awesome Saturday for you. If not this Saturday try for the next or the next.
