It's cold outside and for some of you there is major snow globe effect happening out your window. Embrace Winter and make your home warm. Take this time to slow down a bit. Warmth is also a state of mind and not just the temp on the thermostat. Here are three ways I add a feeling of warmth to my home. It's all about createing that cozy vibe. These tips will get you in a mood of comfort, wellness and contentment. #1 Tea LightsNext time your at Target or the Dollar Store purchase several glass votive holder and tea light candles. As soon as Winter hits I place several on my fireplace mantel. I also like to add some green garland to bring nature and that winter smell inside.  #2 Candles in the FireplaceIf you have a wood burning fireplace like me you know it's not always easy to have a fire. I pulled these LED candles out of my Master Bathroom and placed them in the fireplace. Even though we don't have a fire every night the candles still create that sense of warmth. I clipped some spruce from my garland outside to add a little bit of Winter nature vibes around the candles.  #3 Blankets + Books + Yuletide LogMy favorite way to create a feeling of warmth is with a good old Youtube Yuletile log. As soon as it get's dark I Chromecast one on the TV before I start dinner. Throw down your favorite blanket with some books and your in for a cozy night. Don't forget the hot cocoa and to play your favorite Winter Spotify playlist in the background.  I hope these simple tips have your feeling and enjoying all that Winter brings.
