Happy Easter! Nora and I have been busy Mod Podgeing Easter eggs and making Cadbury chocolate egg topped cookies. Most of the time I pin ideas and we never get around to trying them. These two ideas were fun and festive. The bright colors alone have us in the Easter spirit. The first idea we tried were these Crepe Paper Easter Eggs. I spotted the idea on Domino via Pinterest. We had so much fun creating patterns on the crepe paper. I must say the Mod Podgeing required a little patience, but we were happy with the results. See the full tutorial on Domino. Here's a little peek at our process and colorful completion. The second idea was these Cadbury Chocolate Egg Cookies. Cadbury chocolate eggs are hands down my favorite Easter candy. I have passed on my love of these chocolates to Nora. I searched Pinterest specifically for a desert recipe that used this candy. This Cadbury Chocolate Thumbprint recipe is easy, delicious and Easter adorable. See the full recipe via Six Sisters Stuff.
I hope you enjoy trying these ideas as much as we did. Happy Easter! Xo, Annie
